Covering over 100,000 square feet of area, Pine Hall Brick pavers
were a key element in Robert Hayter's design for the host facility
of the 1999 US Open Golf Championship. Applications include vehicular
driveways, golf cart driveways, porches and walkways that run from
the historic main hotel to the golf center. Beautiful as they are
functional, these pavements helped Hayter win two 1999 architectural
design awards given by the NC AIA in sponsorship with the Brick
Association of the Carolinas (BAC). The well-deserved honors were
the only two awarded for landscape design!
